On Wednesday, March 6, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco held a sushi roll (maki-zushi) workshop in Japantown for students of George Washington High School’s Japanese class.  Following an introduction of the history and types of sushi, Consul General’s Chef Takahashi demonstrated how to make ura-maki and hoso-maki. The students enjoyed making and tasting their own sushi rolls
