Consul General Uyama delivers his opening remarks of support for the project
On Tuesday, March 5, Consul General Uyama and the Sacramento Tree Foundation invited Japanese companies and community leaders from both Sacramento and the Bay Area to a reception at the Consul General’s official residence in San Francisco to promote the Hanami Line Project, which will plant 200 cherry trees at Robert T. Matsui Park along the Sacramento River.
