Opening remarks from Vice Consul Nomura
Welcome remarks from II President Ron Brown
On Saturday, March 16, Vice Consul Nomura, attended and spoke at the opening ceremony of the San Francisco Bay Area chapter of Ikebana International’s biennial Flower Show. The wife of Consul General Uyama, Mrs. Uyama serves as the Honorary President of the chapter and also attended and gave remarks. The show was held Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 at the County Fair Building in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Members from multiple schools of Ikebana displayed arrangements and demonstrated techniques over the 2-day show.
