Consul General Uyama delivers his welcome remarks
On Wednesday, March 20, Consul General Uyama invited students from Osaka Prefecture and Elk Grove Unified School District, who visited San Francisco as participants of the California-Japan Scholars Program, and Japanese community leaders in the Bay Area to a reception at his official residence. The State of California and Osaka Prefecture began their sister state relationship in 1994 and based on this relationship, the California-Japan Scholars Program has been ongoing since 1997 with the support of the California International Relations Foundation and the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco.
