On Friday, March 29, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended the Critical Issues Forum organized by the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. In the Forum, high school students from Japan, the United States, and Russia made presentations of their studies and research on this year’s project topic “Nuclear Risk Reduction: Crisis Prevention in a Time of International Turbulence”. Consul General Uyama delivered remarks and read a message from Mr. Taro Kono, Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs.
