Consul General Uyama greets the audience
On Thursday, April 4, Consul General Uyama attended the Japan Society of Northern California’s Annual General Members Meeting. During his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the Japan Society and their support of Japan-related programs in the Bay Area.
Mr. John Metzler, Chairman of the Board, announced members of the new Board, and Pesident Larry Greenwood reviewed the organization’s activities in 2018. Ms. Yuko Suzuki of Suzuki Marketing, Inc. gave an informative presentation on California wines, and Mr. Richard Bischoff followed with a presentation on sake.
