On Saturday, April 6, the 4th Kizuna Spring Festival was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Deputy Consul General Iryu attended and spoke at the opening ceremony. Over 5,000 people attended the festival. The Consulate also held its information booth, with information on Japan, culture, travel, and the JET Program.
Attendees enjoyed a number of Japanese cultural performances, including an amezaiku (candy art) demonstration by Candy5, taiko (drums), koto (zither), shodo (calligraphy), and judo.
