On Saturday, April 6, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended the Northern California-Western Nevada-Pacific (NCWNP) District JACL Gala in Danville, and delivered a congratulatory speech for the 90th anniversary of Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) and the NCWNP District. During the program, presenters expressed gratitude for the Kakehashi Project, which is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Consul General Uyama received a certificate on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its continuous support of the US-Japan friendship through the Kakehashi Project.
