On Thursday, April 11, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended the gala “Immigrant Dreams: Hero Voices” hosted by the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation (AIISF) in San Francisco, in celebration of the organization's 25 groundbreaking years. AIISF is a nonprofit partner of Angel Island State Park and raises awareness of the immigration experience into America through the Pacific.
