On Saturday, April 27, the 4th Greater Sacramento Area Japanese Speech Contest organized by the California Association of Japanese Language Teachers, was held at Buddhist Church of Sacramento and a Consulate staff member attended as a judge. With families, friends and teachers in the audience, a total of 14 high school and college students spoke on a number of unique and interesting topics while demonstrating their mastery of Japanese.
