On Saturday, April 27, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended the 50th Annual Manzanar Pilgrimage with his wife and delivered remarks. Prior to the ceremony, Consul General Uyama learned about the internment camp site from Ms. Bernadette Johnson, Superintendent of Manzanar National Historic Site, and laid flowers at the Memorial Tower.
