Public Signing of a Book of Felicitations in Celebration of the Accession of His Majesty the Emperor to the Throne

In celebration of the accession of His Majesty the Emperor to the Throne on May 1, 2019, a book of felicitations will be available for signing from Tuesday, May 7 to Thursday, May 9 at the Japan Information and Cultural Center (JICC) in San Francisco. The details are as follows.

Tuesday, May 7 to Thursday, May 9, 9:30am to 4:30pm (closed from 12:00pm to 1:00pm)

• Please write only your name when signing. A pen will be provided.
• The Consulate General is not permitted to accept nor forward gifts of any kind.
• Bag inspection and security check will be conducted at the entrance. Please keep your personal belongings to a minimum.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Destruction or removal of facilities and other objects.
• Photography or video recording.
• Organizing an assembly or staging a demonstration.
• Committing any other acts deemed harmful to management of the event, such as violating the order or discipline in the center.
