The 10th Sonoma MATSURI! Japanese Arts Festival

On Sunday, May 19, the 10th Sonoma County MATSURI! Japanese Arts Festival was held in Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. Consul General Uyama attended the festival and gave his remarks.
The festival featured a number of Japanese cultural performances and activities, including taiko drumming, traditional dance, martial arts, and Japanese food. Despite the rain, many people gathered and enjoyed the festival. The Consulate staffed its Japan Information booth to provide information on Japanese culture, tourism, and JET program.
