On Sunday, May 19, the 20th Hakone Matsuri Festival was held at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. Deputy Consul General Iryu gave remarks at the opening ceremony.
Attendees were entertained by a variety of cultural attractions, performances, and food, set to the backdrop of the Japanese gardens. The consulate also held an information booth and distributed materials on education, travel, and culture in Japan.
