On Friday, May 24, Consul General Uyama attended the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team’s Japanese Heritage Night. With the cooperation of several Japanese American and Japanese community and corporate supporters, Japanese Heritage Night featured demonstrations of karate, origami, and Japanese food and drink. Before the game, Consul General Uyama spoke to the crowd about the importance of baseball to the Japan-US relationship.
