Consul General Uyama delivers remarks to the audience
On Sunday, May 26, Consul General Tomochika Uyama attended the USS San Francisco Memorial Ceremony held at Land’s End in San Francisco. In his remarks, on behalf of the people and government of Japan, Consul General Uyama offered condolences for the souls who lost their lives in war, and stated that the former adversaries, Japan and the United States, have made enduring contributions to peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region, exemplified in the recent goodwill visit to San Francisco by the Japanese Coast Guard vessel Kojima.
