JET Program Alumni-Led Orientation
2019/7/10

On Saturday, July 6th, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco hosted the Alumni-Led Orientation for outbound JET Program* participants, who will leave for Japan at the beginning of August this year. 50 outbound JET participants were in attendance and they got the chance to learn about the program, the work they would be doing, and life in Japan directly from local alumni. The Alumni leading the presentations were able to share their expert knowledge and experience of their time in Japan with the outgoing JETs. In addition, the orientation also welcomed the parents of program participants so that they could also have their concerns addressed.
