On Sunday, July 14, Deputy Consul General Iryu delivered congratulatory remarks at the Sausalito-Sakaide Sister City 2019 Delegation Launch Party in Sausalito, helping to wish a warm send-off to students who will be visiting Sakaide in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Sausalito Mayor Joe Burns also attended the event and delivered remarks. Under the exchange program with Sakaide City, eleven students will visit Japan for about two weeks from the end of the month.
