On Wednesday, July 17, Deputy Consul General Iryu delivered congratulatory remarks at a farewell dinner in Fresno, CA for a delegation from Kochi, Japan. The delegation was led by Kochi Mayor Seiya Okazaki and arrived in Fresno to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Fresno-Kochi sister city relationship. Over the years, Kochi and Fresno have held various programs including student and business exchanges. The cities look forward to strengthening their ties even further through such activities as the Kochi delegation’s visit.
