Discovering New Pairings: Sake and Seafood From Around the World

On August 6, the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco and JETRO SF hosted the event ”Discovering New Pairings: Sake and Seafood From Around the World” at the Consul General’s official residence.

Mr. Marcus Pakiser guided guests through sake’s basic qualities and categories. To complement Mr. Pakiser’s presentation, Chef Katsuyuki Takahashi served a special menu for guests to try with different sake pairings. Mr. Ry Beville, publisher of the magazine “Sake Today”, also gave a talk as a sake expert and enlivened discussions with his insights.
