On Sunday, August 25, Deputy Consul General Kazuhiru Iryu attended the US-Japan Friendship Cup Tennis Tournament hosted by the Japan Society of Northern California in Millbrae. Founded in 1987, the friendly tournament is an opportunity for the people of Japan and the US to have fun playing tennis together. This year’s tournament had a record high number of participants and the tournament champion was awarded the Consul General’s Cup by Deputy Consul General Iryu.
