Consul General Uyama throws out the first pitch
On Wednesday, September 4, the Oakland Athletics held their Japanese Heritage Night in their game against the Los Angeles Angels. Consul General Uyama attended the event, and threw out the ceremonial first pitch. The game was also preceded by performances of Japanese taiko drumming. The Athletics won the game 4-0.
