On Saturday, November 2, Consul General Uyama attended the 42nd Annual Conference of the Sister Cities International (SCI) Northern California Chapter in Menlo Park and gave remarks on U.S.-Japan history in the Bay Area. Mayor Ray Mueller of the City of Menlo Park, which hosted the conference, presented Consul General Uyama with an official proclamation in honor of his dedication to supporting sister city activities between Northern California and Japan.
