On Thursday, November 14, Deputy Consul General Kazuhiro Iryu attended the GLIDE Annual Holiday Jam, on the kind invitation from Reverend Dr. Cecil Williams and Ms. Janice Mirikitani, co-founders of the philanthropic GLIDE Foundation. Ms. Mirikitani was incidentally conferred the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation this year. San Francisco Mayor London Breed also attended the event, and participants enjoyed a variety of on-stage performances, including from the GLIDE Ensemble.
