On Tuesday, December 10, Consul General Uyama attended the 2019 World Tree of Hope Tree Lighting Ceremony hosted by Rainbow World Fund at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. The highlight of the ceremony was decorating the holiday tree, which is made up of tens of thousands of paper cranes with wishes written on their wings. Over 100 people attended this event to wish for hope and world peace.
