Foundation confers Immigrant Heritage Awards to recipients
On Wednesday, August 19, Consul General Maeda delivered a video message at the Angel Island Immigration Station Foundation 2020 Virtual Gala and Immigrant Heritage Awards. In his message, Consul General Maeda expressed his appreciation to the foundation for their efforts to preserve the history of Asian immigrants and to connect the diverse communities. He also congratulated this year's four Immigrant Heritage Award honorees.
