On Friday, November 20, Nihonmachi Little Friends (NLF) held a “Sushi Social” virtual event in celebration of their 45th anniversary. Attendees enjoyed preordered sushi bento boxes picked up from the school and a virtual performance by Dr. Anthony Brown’s Asian American Orchestra during the program. Consul General Maeda delivered a virtual message, congratulating the school on its anniversary and thanked them for passing on the Japanese language and culture to children in San Francisco.
