On Thursday, January 28, a virtual New Year’s reception for Nevada was held and around 63 guests from Nevada joined.
Following a speech by Consul General Maeda, the reception featured video messages from state and local government officials, including Governor Steve Sisolak, U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen, U.S. Representative Dina Titus, U.S. Representative Steven Horsford, and Clark County Commissioner Chair Marilyn Kirkpatrick. Representatives of Japan-affiliated companies also gave video messages.
