Day of Remembrance Events in Northern and Central California

Every year in February, Day of Remembrance events are held across the United States, including in Northern and Central California, to preserve and reflect upon the history of Japanese American internment brought on by the signature of Executive Order 9066 on February 19, 1942. Consul General Maeda attended virtual Day of Remembrance events hosted in Sacramento, Fresno, San Jose, and San Francisco.
