Japanese and American High School Students Recognized at Stanford’s Japan Day

On Friday, March 26, the virtual Japan Day event was hosted by Stanford University to award three high school students from the U.S. and six high school students from Japan on their outstanding academic achievement as participants in the Reischauer Scholars Program and the Stanford e-Japan Program. At the online award ceremony, Consul General Toru Maeda delivered congratulatory remarks.

The two programs are offered by the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) and enroll exceptional high school students from the U.S. and Japan to engage in an intensive study of Japan and the U.S. through online courses.
