This portal site was developed primarily by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California with the support of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) under the “Program to Strengthen Livelihood and Business Foundations for Japanese Nationals Overseas and People of Japanese Descent (Nikkei).” It is available in both English and Japanese. Please visit the site to find the latest information on COVID-19.
The “Program to Strengthen Livelihood and Business Foundations for Japanese Nationals Overseas and People of Japanese Descent (Nikkei)” is accepting applications until September 30, 2021. The program aims to support projects to prevent the spread of infection, and to support the creation of environments conducive to business in Japanese expatriate and Nikkei communities through overseas Japanese associations, Japanese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Nikkei groups, and more. For additional information please visit the MOFA website below.
