On Friday, July 9, the San Francisco Giants held their 2021Japanese Heritage Night. The event included the singing of the Japanese National Anthem by a local Japanese choral group. Consul General Maeda threw out the ceremonial first pitch. Japanese Heritage Night celebrates Japanese culture and the Japanese and Japanese American community in the Bay Area through a shared appreciation for baseball.
