Consul General Maeda delivers remarks
On Friday, August 6, the Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities Association held a bell ringing ceremony at Cupertino Memorial Park to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the bombing of Toyokawa. Consul General Maeda, Vice Mayor Liang Chao of Cupertino, and others attended the ceremony and gave speeches, praying for the souls of the victims and ringing the bell for lasting peace in the world.
