Japanese High School Students Recognized at Stanford’s Japan Day for SPICE Regional Programs in Japan

On Monday, August 23, a virtual awards ceremony for SPICE Regional Programs in Japan was hosted by Stanford University to award eight Japanese high school students on their outstanding academic achievement as participants in the Programs. At the online award ceremony, Consul General Toru Maeda delivered congratulatory remarks.
SPICE Regional Programs in Japan are offered by the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) for high school students in Japan. These online courses are coordinated in collaboration with school and government officials at the city and prefectural levels in Japan. There have been four programs; Stanford e-Hiroshima, Stanford e-Kawasaki, Stanford e-Oita, and Stanford e-Tottori. Stanford e-Kobe will be launched this September.
