On Sunday, October 3, the 16th Annual Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival was held in Millbrae. Deputy Consul General Higuchi attended and spoke at the opening ceremony. The Festival featured Japanese cultural displays and performances including Japanese dance, music, martial arts, and taiko drumming. The Consulate held its Japan Information booth to provide information on Japanese culture, events, and the JET Program.
