Consul General Kawamura Attends "Japantenna" Opening Ceremony in San Francisco Japantown

On Monday, November 8, Consul General Kawamura attended the opening ceremony of "Japantenna" in San Francisco Japantown. "Japantenna" is a pop-up, or “antenna”, store that will focus on each of Japan's 47 prefectures at regular intervals to introduce local specialties and other products. "Japantenna" will open to the public in the Japan Center West Mall on Friday, November 12. The first feature will be Kagoshima Prefecture’s specialties and products and will operate every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through December 5.
All necessary infection control measures were taken at the ceremony including requiring proof of vaccination and providing hand sanitizer and extra ventilation.
