Consul General Kawamura receives an update on the pagoda’s restoration progress
On Tuesday, November 16, Consul General Kawamura toured the Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park with the Recreation & Parks Department’s General Manager, Mr. Phil Ginsburg, and members of the Friends of the Japanese Tea Garden. Consul General Kawamura was able to learn about the extensive history of the Garden as well as see the progress being made on the restoration of the historic pagoda.
