Upcoming Event: "Wagyu 101" with the Japan Society of Northern California

Wagyu 101
On Friday, March 11, the Japan Society of Northern California, in cooperation with the Consulate General of Japan and a Japanese Wagyu importer, will hold a “Wagyu 101” event at the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California in San Francisco.

At the event, experts will explain the appeal of the unique flavor of Japanese Wagyu, how they are raised, and the differences between various grades and cuts. Participants will also be able to sample delicious Wagyu nigiri sushi.

The event will be held indoors in compliance with CDC, state, and city/county guidelines. Participants must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, including a booster shot.
