On Monday, April 25, Consul General Kawamura hosted a conferment ceremony at his official residence for the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, recipient of the Foreign Minister’s Commendation. Dr. Jay Xu, Director and CEO of the Asian Art Museum accepted the award on behalf of the museum.
This award was originally announced in December 2020 in recognition of the museum’s achievements in promoting intercultural exchange through art.
