On Saturday, May 21, the Japan Coast Guard Academy training ship Kojima made a port call in San Francisco. The Kojima is on a 3-month training voyage with cadets who graduated from the Japan Coast Guard Academy this past March. Deputy Consul General Kishimori and community members attended a welcome ceremony for the crew and cadets.
On Wednesday, May 25, the Kojima left San Francisco for its next port of call, Honolulu.
