On Sunday, May 29, Deputy Consul General Kishimori attended the USS San Francisco Memorial Ceremony held at Land’s End in San Francisco.
In his remarks, on behalf of the people and government of Japan, Deputy Consul General Kishimori offered condolences for the souls who lost their lives in the war. He also referenced the recent Japan-US summit meeting during which Japan and the United States affirmed a partnership that is stronger and deeper than at any time in its history.
