Performance by Queer Taiko
On Thursday, June 30, the Consulate General of Japan, in partnership with the 2022 Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, presented a special lunchtime concert performance featuring Queer Taiko, a Bay Area Taiko group composed of LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies. About 300 people enjoyed the midday Japanese drumming performance celebrating diversity and Japanese culture on the final day of Pride Month.
