Japanese and American High School Students Recognized at Stanford’s 2022 Japan Day

On Monday, August 8, the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education (SPICE) virtually hosted its Japan Day to award 6 Japanese and 3 American high school students for their outstanding performance in the Reischauer Scholars Program and Stanford e-Japan program respectively. Acting Consul General Kishimori delivered congratulatory remarks to the awardees and all participants who have completed the programs.

On Tuesday, August 9, SPICE also hosted its Japan Day for SPICE Regional Programs in Japan, recognizing two students each from Stanford’s e-Hiroshima, e-Kawasaki, e-Kobe, e-Oita, e-Tottori and e-Fukuoka programs. Acting Consul General Kishimori expressed congratulatory remarks to the awardees and all participants who have completed the programs.

Each of the above-mentioned programs is an online educational program run by SPICE for high school students to promote mutual cross-cultural understanding between Japan and the United States. Please refer to the respective links below for further information.
