Rosa Parks Elementary School JBBP Undokai

On Friday, September 30, Rosa Parks Elementary School’s Japanese Bilingual Bicultural Program (JBBP) held its annual Undokai, or Sports Day, with Consulate staff member Steve Goldman attending and giving closing remarks. Rosa Parks JBBP students from Kindergarten through 5th grade were divided into red and white teams and competed in such events as foot races, the three-legged race, and ball-rolling. Children and adults alike enjoyed cheering on their teams.
