On Sunday, October 2, the 17th Annual Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival was held in Millbrae. Consul General Noguchi attended and spoke at the opening ceremony, joining Millbrae Mayor Anne Oliva and San Mateo County Supervisor David Canepa.
The Festival featured Japanese cultural displays and performances including Japanese dance, music, martial arts, and taiko drumming. The Consulate held its Japan Information booth to provide information on Japanese culture, events, and the JET Program.
