Upcoming Event: 13th Annual Aki Matsuri in Nevada and Sake Pavilion

On Saturday, October 22, the Japanese Festival Association of Nevada, with support from the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, will hold the 13th annual Aki Matsuri Japanese Festival at Water Street Plaza in Henderson, Nevada. The festival will feature a full day of in-person Japanese cultural performances, displays, activities, and food. The Consulate is sponsoring the Sake Pavilion in promotion of Japanese beverages, and will also staff its information booth, promoting Japanese culture, the JET Program, and tourism in Japan.
 
The festival will be held predominantly outdoors, with some indoor attractions. Additional information on the COVID-19 health policy may be found at Aki Matsuri website.

Visitors to the Sake Pavilion will be able to sample a wide variety of sake and spirits produced in Japan. This year, a special Cocktail Reception highlighting Shochu and Okinawan Awamori will be held prior to the main tasting.
 
Admission may be purchased at the door and attendees must be age 21+ to enter.
