Consul General Noguchi gives congratulatory remarks
On Wednesday, December 14, Consul General Noguchi attended a reception in honor of the 65th sister city anniversary of Okayama and San Jose at the San Jose Japanese Friendship Garden Tea House in Kelley Park. The reception was hosted by the San Jose-Okayama Sister Cities, and special guests included San Jose City Councilmember Pam Foley, as well as incoming Councilmembers Rosemary Kamei and Bien Doan. Established in 1957, Okayama-San Jose is the third-oldest Japan-US sister city relationship.
