Remarks by President Basalla
On Saturday, January 28, Consul General Noguchi hosted a welcome reception for the Board of Directors of the U.S.-Japan Council (USJC) at his official residence.
In his remarks, Consul General Noguchi acknowledged the efforts of the U.S.-Japan Council to strengthen ties between the United States and Japan and support the next generation of Japanese American leaders. U.S.-Japan Council President & CEO Suzanne Basalla also addressed the group, after which there was a toast by Co-Chairwomen, Ms.Kathy Matsui and Ms. Susan Morita .
