Foster City-Inagi Sister City Dinner

Consul General Noguchi gives remarks
On Saturday, February 4, Consul General Noguchi attended a dinner celebrating the most recent Japan-California sister city relationship between Inagi and Foster City. He delivered remarks during the program congratulating the two cities on formalizing their relationship two years ago and offered his best wishes for their future exchanges. Also speaking in the program were Foster City Mayor Jon Froomin, Inagi Mayor Katsuhiro Takahashi, Foster City Sister City Association (FCSCA) Chair David Saito, and Inagi City Inter-City Friendship Association Chair Michimasa Ando.

Both Foster City and Inagi City were incorporated in 1971 and signed a sister city agreement in July of 2021, the 50th anniversary of each city's incorporation. A delegation from Foster City visited Inagi City in October 2022, and this time a delegation from Inagi City visited Foster City.
