On Tuesday, February 14, Consul General Noguchi hosted a reception at his residence in recognition of the Golden State Warriors’ first-ever Japanese Heritage Night. In his remarks, Consul General Noguchi thanked the Warriors, performers, and community organizations that made the unprecedented event so inclusive and authentic. Yoyo Chan Murphy, Warriors Vice President of Government and Community Affairs gave remarks on behalf of the Warriors. Guests were treated to a special performance by Japanese rock guitarist MIYAVI who also performed at Japanese Heritage Night.
